  • Attended 2004 National Convention in New York City as the National Committeewoman Elect
  • 2000 Alternate National Delegate, Philadelphia
  • Alternate Utah Presidential Elector, 2000
  • Elected member of the Republican State Central Committee for 10 of the last 13 years
  • Worked on numerous campaigns, doing everything from fundraising, volunteer phone calling and polling, preparing mailings, door-to-door-contacting and pamphleteering to poll watching, “get out the vote” efforts and organizing “meet the candidate” events. 
  •  Elected member of the State Party’s (financial) Audit Committee for 4 years, 1999 – 2003
  •  Treasurer, SL County GOP, 2001 – 2002
  • 2004 SL County GOP Rules Committee member and Rules Committee Chair, 1999 – 2000
  •  Region Chair, SL County GOP Executive Committee, 1996 –1998
  •  Precinct Chair 14 of the last 16 years; precinct officer several times before that
  • State or county delegate almost every election cycle since 1978
  •  Intern for Senator Orrin Hatch through BYU’s Washington Intern program during college, 1979
  •  President - BYU College Republicans, 1978 –1979; Secretary, 1977 - 1978
  • Began volunteering on campaigns at age 14 (in 1974) and attending precinct caucuses at age 16
